OEM PRODUCTS: PD LOBE BLOWERS
Gardner Denver manufactures Positive Displacement rotary lobe blowers for many OEM applications. All models can be configured for vertical or horizontal air flow. Gas versions of most models, with special seals for handling corrosive gases, are also available.
Gardner Denver offers several models of blowers that are commonly provided for OEM Application.
Sutorbilt Legend Series
Most economical series on the market. These 2 lobe blowers are often used for OEM applications such as:
- Aquaculture and Hydroponic aeration systems
- Pneumatic Conveying systems for lime, cement, powders, plastics and other bulk materials
- Automatic milking systems
- Soil vapor extraction / remediation systems
- Industrial vacuum systems in food/meat processing
2 Lobe – Straight Design – General purpose blower.
Models: 7 gear sizes (2-8 inch), 3 lobe lengths for each size
Capacity: 3015 SCFM Max Flow
Vacuum / Pressure Max: 16” Hg / 15 psi
Applications: Wastewater Aeration, Pneumatic Conveying (cement, lime, dry chemicals, bulk foods, plastics), Soil Vapor Extraction.
Sutorbilt Q – Quite Series
The Q Series Legend has internal recirculation to help reduce pulsation and noise. They are often found on OEM applications such as Carpet Cleaning vans, aquaculture and hydroponics, and wherever an OEM system will be placed in an area requiring reduced noise.
2 Lobe – Straight Design with reduced pulsation.
Enhanced version of standard Legend blower with 5 dBA reduction at a given performance due to internal bleed-back feature.
Models: 4 gear sizes (3-6 inch), 1-2 lobe lengths for each size
Capacity: 815 SCFM Max Flow
Vacuum / Pressure Max: 16” Hg / 15 psi
Applications: All Legend applications where the environment demands a reduced noise level.
Tri-Flow Series
The TRI-FLOW Series offers further improved noise level for a given application, for wherever blowers are being used in residential areas or where noise reduction is essential. The TRI-FLOW is a 3 lobe style blower, which drops the pulse noise level and raises the frequency of the pulse to a more acceptable level.
3 lobe Straight Design for Vacuum applications – Reduced pulsation.
Models: 1 gear sizes 4 inch), 3 lobe lengths
Capacity: 700 SCFM Max Flow
Vacuum Max: 16” Hg
Applications: OEM applications, truck mount, carpet cleaning, vacuum conveying.
Heliflow Series
HELIFLOW is the ultimate solution to reduced noise in a blower design. The Heliflow utilizes a 3 lobe design, but then configures the lobes in a helix, to eliminate a high amount of pulsation, and noise by between 4 – 7 dBA over straight-lobe blowers. Heliflow is suitable for all OEM applications where a low noise solution is essential, including

2 Lobe Twisted (Helix) Design – Higher pressure/lower vacuum applications, Improved efficiency, reduced noise.

Vacuum / Pressure Max: 17” Hg / 18 psi
Applications: Wastewater Aeration, Pneumatic Conveying (cement, lime, dry chemicals, bulk foods, plastics), Carpet Cleaning vehicles.
Ober-Read Sutorbilt Blower Packages
Ober-Read will provide a packaged solution with motor, base, silencers, filters and relief valves. For the ultimate in noise-free service, Gardner Denver offers IQ Packages for Tri-Flow series blowers, that are fully enclosed to further reduce noise levels.
